At the foot of peninsula Hel, towards the Baltic Sea, the fishing harbour Wladyslawowo is situated.
In the west you find the lighthouse Rozewie, making it easy to approach from the sea.
The port is possible to approach even in harsh weather. The last leg is guided by leading lights. A sand bank exists outside the pier. You should approach from E.
Wladyslawowo is a fishing harbour with a big fishing fleet. The history of Wladyslawowo is connected with the creation of "the Polish corridor" between the wars. The port was constructed as an answer to the efforts from Poland to make benefit of the sea.
The port
Wladyslawowo let in visiting yachts as late in -91. Until now it is mainly an active fishing port. But the city thinks that yachting, tourists, rather than fishing is future. The port captain promised to provide something better. The showers and rest room for sailors are a bit poor.
The Village
The town lives in summer, and is abandoned in winter. The Dom Rybaka (Fishermens House) is visible far from sea. There are a nice restaurants, cafeteria, a museum, and administration in the building.
The beach is broad, sandy (white-yellow sand), clean and pretty crowded in summer.
