The peninsula Kassari is situated on south Hiiumaa. The waters nearby are very shallow. Very long, points of narrow land are stretching many km out into the sea.
Nearby you also have the museum of Hiiumaa. The Estonian-Swedish
history have an exhibition. You can also learn more on live in Soviet times. We will very much recommend a visit.
Orjaku harbour
Despite the shallow waters, Kassari have a marina at the
port Orjaku. It is a good choice if you plan to visit Hiiumaa without
calling Lehtma in north.
