The estauary of river Nemunas (ger Memel) is located on the Eastern sida of the Curonian Bay. The river is navigable up to Kaunas. Uostadvario lighthouse by johnnatch, on Flickr

Uostadvaris

On the Souith side of the river arm Atmata you find the fishing village  Uostadvaris. The harbour is 1,7m deep. Here you find a lighthouse.

Minge is a viullage north of Uostovadis. Here the river is the main street.

Bridges over the main river arm does not exist.

A small yacht harbour has been opened for visiting yachts. ELLENnet EOF sign
