Dziwnow is a small village with a yacht club, situated at the inlet to Zalew Kamienski. The harbour has good reputation and service.
Approaching
The harbour can be difficult to approach in harsh weather with winds from N. Large waves can be formed at the inlet.
Otherwise approach is without problems. Two piers guard the sides of the inlet.The port authorities has painted the inlet piers in white to make them more visible. If you are unsure of your position, the large letters Dziwnow at the piers will help you!
Polmax Maina is found on the SW side. Some distance further away, you fins the winter harbour in NE, with some jetties for pleasure crafts. The village centre is located inside the bridge. Even here, it is possible to berth.

Wolin National Park
Dziwnow and river Dziwna form the eastern edge of the island Wolin. It continues to Swinoujscie in west along the Baltic coast, and southwards to the town of Wolin and Zalew Szczecinski.
A large part of the island is a Nature reserve, the Wolin national park , famous for it's nature and wildlife. Among other things, you will find a reserve for European Bison (Visent) here..
Dziwnow is an excellent base fore a trip to the park!
The waters southwards
South of Dziwnow you enter Zalew Kamienski with the town Kamien Pomorski. If you can pass under a 12.5 m high bridge, you can sail all the way down to Wolin and Stettiner Haff.
