Hävringe is known fir it's six corner beacon, built in 1752 and the oldest of it's kind in Scandimavia. The ilsand has a long history as a pilot station and fishery skerry. It is possible to see seals outside Hävringe. This is one of the most "seal dense" areas in the Baltic sea. The area ha also a rich bird life.
Approaching
Hävringe has a strategic location along the coastal fairway. It is easy to access from the sea, since the waters are free from shallows towards the sea side.
The Harbour
There is a small harbour here with a little village of wooden houses, reminding of the history of the place as a pilot station. the harbour is protected by a breakwater pier.
