There is a great change in the Old Castle harbour stuation. The river Memel and the castel are in repair. Getting new quays. The river is smaller and the ferry bigger.

The trees are removed. The berths of the old castle harbours are replaced to the inside of the immigration quay. An nice development. This harbour is directly connected to the place. One minor. When a cruiseship is there it starts early in the morning an Lithuanian folk music. 7.00

An big problem is the quality of the mooring-rings in this new harbour. They are of poor quality and break when you have 7-8 bft West. We had an lot of ropes connecting the boat to the main pier.

There was no customs what so ever but the place is now guarded. Extra security for your goods.
